Pastor James Harris Jr.

Anointed, appointed, energetic, enthusiastic, powerful and prophetic, are all words used to describe Pastor James Harris, Jr., a man of God who is declaring the Word of God for such a time as this! His election and sure calling are further described in his personal motto: "Reaching the World for the cause of Christ."
A proponent of education, Pastor Harris holds both a Master and Bachelor of Religious Arts degree from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. In February 2011, he also received a second bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services for Liberty University. He is retired from Middle Georgia Technical College in Warner Robins, GA and in April 2012 and is the proud father of seven children.
Married to the lovely Akia Harris, Pastor Harris is the son of Mr, James (Bobbie) Harris, Sr., and Ms. Shirley J. Pearson and was raised under the watchful eye and is abiding under the mantle of an anointed woman of God, his late grandmother, Mother Thelma Waller. Today, Pastor Harris assets that he continues to attributes many of his affirmations to her profound love and guidance. He often quotes from the maxims that were instilled by her over the years- one of his favorites being, "It's a poor frog that doesn't praise his own pond."
In ministry for over 30 years, Pastor Harris is currently the co-founder and Senior Pastor of Faith Christian Fellowship Ministries. Prior to opening the doors of Faith Christian Fellowship Ministries on August 7,2016, Pastor Harris served as pastor of Green Pasture Missionary Baptist Church in Milledgeville, Ga (2000-2016), Second Baptist Church in Dublin, Ga (1995-2000) and Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Sanderville, Ga (1999-2002). Through his uncompromising ministry, Several people have come to enjoy a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Harris constantly reminds his parishioners that it's not about him but it's ALL about Jesus. Althought Pastor Harris maintains a rigorous schedule, he continues to provide volunteer services at Chapel Wood Nursing Home, Georgia War Veteran Home, and numerous prisons throughout the state. He is also the Founder & CEO of J.H.J Ministries,Inc., a non-profit, regilious organization designed to spread the word of God while educating, empowering, equipping and giving back to those less fortunate.
Pastor Harris, affectionately called by his parishioners, is a man for all seasons, ministering to God's people under the divine anotinting of the Holy Ghost. With an outburst of growth in his new congregation, Pastor Harris' effective leadership has admonished his "Faith Walkers" to meet the needs of the growing church and surrounding communities. The scope of his endeavors is to achieve all things in "A Spirit of Faith Walkers to adopt one of his favorite Scripture as their motto: 2 Corinthians 5:7 which states,"For we walk by faith, not by sight". Pastor Harris' no-nonsense and hands-on approach reminds his
congregation that they must not forget from whence they have come. He truly is a man of God, preaching, prophesying, and teaching the Word of God.

Lady Akia A. Harris
The Only Lady
Born in West Palm Beach, Flordia and raised in Nassau, Bahamas, Lady Akia Harris is a gentle spirit that is well known her willingness to help others and her dynamic praise and worship! A graduate of the University of Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a minor in Health Science Education. Lady Harris fulfills her destiny to help others and spread the Word of God daily in her career as she teaches dialysis clients to care for themselves.
As the Co-Founder and First Lady of Faith Christian Fellowship Ministries, Lady Harris works diligently in the service of the Lord with her husband, Pastor James Harris, Jr., Senior Pastor. Known to her parishioners as a loving and caring first lady who is easy to talk to and enjoyable to be around, Lady Harris is an anointed prayer warrior, and is exceedingly gifted in her own right. She will do all she can and then some for all she encounters. Lady Harris is the co-founder of the GEMS (Girls Emerging Mentally and Spiritually) Ministry where she empowers the lives of teenage girls between the ages of 11-13.
She is a woman of God, a soldier on the battlefield, a virtuous woman and wonderful wife and mother. First Lady is thankful to God for everyone who has been a blessing in her life, but she is her husband, Pastor James Harris, Jr. She gives credit to Pastor Harris for being an exemplary example of walking by Faith and not by sight, a great mentor, an awesome teacher and great leader. Through his vision, she has learned how to walk in the will of God and to accept the plans He has for her. She also believes that worship is real when you have a true relationship with Christ!
